We're trusted by South Australian councils to keep their building portfolios compliant — and to prove it. Here's a look at how we win the work and how we deliver it.
Request a maintenance proposalSelected through open tender to maintain fire safety across the City of Salisbury's building portfolio — and mobilised without disruption.
The City of Salisbury went to open market for a single provider to maintain the essential safety provisions across its building portfolio to AS 1851 and Ministerial Building Standard 002 — and to supply the compliance evidence behind its Annual Compliance Statement. It needed a contractor who could demonstrate genuine capability, not just a sharp price.
We submitted a capability-led tender backed by our ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system, fully in-house delivery across every fire discipline, and live digital reporting through FieldInsight. On selection we executed a three-year Standing Offer Arrangement and ran a structured mobilisation — a kick-off with the Council's contract manager, agreed communication and escalation channels, and a prioritised start so programmed maintenance began exactly on schedule.
Programmed maintenance commenced on time across the portfolio, with reactive response underpinned by defined SLAs — urgent faults attended within the hour. A first-year due-diligence audit is building a verified, building-by-building asset register, already surfacing gaps in inherited records so they're closed before they can become compliance failures. Yearly Condition Reports feed directly into the Council's Annual Compliance Statement.
Taking on a 114-site council portfolio from an incumbent provider — with a staged due-diligence programme built to leave nothing uncovered.
The City of Port Adelaide Enfield needed to move its fire maintenance to a new provider across a large, mixed portfolio — community centres, libraries, depots, pump stations and leased sites — without any loss of compliance continuity during the handover, and while the historical asset records still sat with the outgoing contractor.
We mobilised for a 1 July commencement, locking in access, security, invoicing and reporting protocols up front at a mobilisation meeting with the City's building services team. We then stood up a staged due-diligence programme across five to six months — desktop review plus full physical asset capture — auditing the Essential Safety Provisions schedule and Form 1 / Form 3 against the assets actually on the ground. We also cross-referenced the City's own venue list against the contracted schedule and flagged council sites that weren't in scope, so nothing slipped through the cracks.
Maintenance commenced on day one under purchase order while the formal arrangement was finalised, with no break in coverage. Interim manual reporting bridged to the FieldInsight client portal as assets were loaded, quarterly operational reviews were established, and the due-diligence programme is reconciling the true asset position — closing inherited gaps and giving the City a verified compliance footing.
